NMT runs 3 Dementia Day Care Centres. NMT also runs a 100-bed Residential Dementia Care Centre at Kasturinagar, a telemedicine enabled Residential Dementia Care Centre at Kolar and a Residential Care Centre exclusively for Women at Bangalore.
Nightingales Medical Trust's Active Ageing Program is based on the ThinkingFit research done in the UK. In addition to online program that enables elderly to join from anywhere in India, NMT has also created two Mobile Active Ageing Projects that visit over 25 old age homes.
Sandhya Kirana is a Day Care Centre for marginalized elders. Sandhya Suraksha is a home for Destitute Elderly Women caring for over 100 persons. SK Home provides safe shelter for 25 destitute elderly men.
Nightingales Medical Trust has envisioned a unique offering for Seniors who are retired, with little or no pension, and still have the ability to work. NMT provides the necessary training and facilitates re-employment.
Elders Helpline 1090 - a joint project of the Bangalore City Police and Nightingales Medical Trust, has been set up to tackle the problems of elder abuse in Bangalore since 2002. NMT also runs the Karnataka Wing of the National Helpline for Senior Citizens.
Nightingales Medical Trust with its well-equipped training department has been providing quality training and education in the field of dementia and eldercare for years now.
